A lovely new range of bright colours have just been added to my shop. Ceramic items fired in warm Oranges, Reds and Yellows fill my shop, little vases and flowers to bring a splash of colour to any room or as a perfect gift to warm the heart.
I started to create ceramic flowers as i wanted to be able to enjoy seeing these delicate flowers all year round and not just for the short time that they appear in the garden, in the hedgerows and field each session. This range of wearable flowers was very popular and then grew to the range of larger flowers i create so that people could fill their houses with these beautiful flowers bringing colour nature and art together.

Handmade ceramic Poppy Pin
This flower pin will look stunning on a black dress, or worn to brighten up a coat or jacket lapel, hat or scarf.
The metal pin of the brooch measures 6cm, and there is a removable safety stopper that fits over the end of the pin. Because of the long pin fastening they can be worn in hats or to pin a scarf, a very versatile piece of jewellery.
The petals and the centres of these ceramic brooches are made individually from a quality fine white clay and i do not use moulds. The poppies therefore vary slightly in petal size and shape, this makes them unique and no poppies are ever the same. The photos show the slight variations in the poppy brooches that i make.
They have been fired in a gentle purple glaze colour on the petals with a dark metallic pewter coloured centre. I have also made variations of the poppy with a White, Dark Purple/Black, Red, Yellow glaze and an Orange glaze, please see photo's.
Your poppy brooch will be sent securely wrapped in tissue paper, put in a luxury gift box and then bubble wrap for extra protection.
