INTERNATIONAL POST - I'm in the process of updating postage for the US and have temporarily removed it from my listings whilst I recalculate the prices to include the new taxes and handling fees which have to be paid prior to my items entering the US. If you are based in the US and wish to purchase something please send me a message and I will happily send you a quote and add the postage and charges back on to the item.

Full description
This is a beautiful hand embroidered, unique pin cushion, a hand sewn gift designed by Bearlescent.
Inspired by the beautiful colours of autumn I have created this unique pincushion by hand embroidering grasses, stems and flowers onto natural silk noil fabric.
In a lovely heritage styling, the embroidered piece is backed with cotton sheeting fabric to stabalise and strengthen the stitched area.
A cotton form was made, flled very firmly with super polyester filling and the embroidered piece was laced over the top giving a triple layer of fabric.
Made and shaped to fit a 4" wooden bowl and finished with beige crochet lace and rolled ribbon trim.

A beautiful heirloom piece that will withstand many years of use. This would make a lovely gift for someone special or an ornamental display for a sewing room.
