A delightful autumn tote bag with a pumpkin and mushrooms theme. The bag is made from sturdy beige fabric and has an appliqué scene featuring a large mushroom, a pumpkin and two small mushrooms. The large toadstool has a cap of golden yellow velvet, to which I've added white buttons for the spots. The underside of the cap is cream and the stem is golden yellow. The pumpkin is made from two shades of orange fabric, each of which has a very subtle print pattern. I've added a brown stem and a textured green fabric leaf. The two small toadstools are made from tweed with a pattern of tiny red and beige checks. The stems are a creamy yellow colour. The bag is fully lined with beautiful gold satin fabric.
This tote bag is very versatile and could be used as a shopping bag or a handbag. With its autumn theme, it would make a lovely gift, particularly for someone who loves autumnal colours or mushrooms. With its pumpkin, it would also suit someone who likes Halloween.
The approximate measurements of the tote bag are:
14 inches (36cm) high x 12.5 inches (32cm) wide x 3 inches (8cm) across the base. The handles are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or hand-carried.
