Welcome to my shop Wiktorski Ceramics. Here you will find a variety of hand made products including pottery and cards. Each piece is made purely by hand and each glaze I apply is weighed and mixed by my own fair hands, similar to baking a cake. I was taught the traditional way and each glaze has taken many years to perfect. This makes it totally unique to Wiktorski Ceramics. Each piece is a one off and will not be seen again. Tea pot stand or large Coaster.
My sweet Tea pot stands can also be used as a large coaster or to stand any small hot item on to protect surfaces.
This cute coaster is pressed with a intricate lace design to make it a unique bespoke piece. It is glazed with a beautiful turquoise and white glaze.
Stand a lovely candle on it or use as a plant stand.
Approx size is 10 x 10cm, 4 x 4 inches.
This coaster is slightly imperfect which is why is has been reduced.
A little about 'WIKTORSKI CERAMICS'
Each piece is individually hand-made as an exclusive one-off piece of contemporary art and will vary slightly in colour, texture and design.
I allow the obvious joins in the clay to be totally visible to the eye as it has become an important feature to my ceramics as is the natural, organic nature of my work.
Once the piece is made it is left to dry for approximately one week. It is then fired for 10 hours to biscuit temperature. The piece is then glazed using one or two of my secret recipes and fired to stoneware temperature for a further 12 hours.
The piece is then ready to send to my customers. As you can appreciate this is a very lengthy process which is reflected in the price and quality of my work.
