This pendant has a fairly large piece of white sea glass at it's centre, a mount is created by bead weaving rows of small beads around the glass attaching it to a piece of interfacing. a strand of tiny, iridescent seed beads cross the right corner and a similar strand, finished with a turquoise bead, is fastened between two rows of the mount and hangs free from the top. The top half of the edge is finished with little picots of tiny blue seed beads the lower edge has gradually longer strands of seed beads suspended from it, each one ending in a different bead, dagger shapes, hearts, leaves and simple round beads. All in shades of blue and blue-green mixed with iridescent white. the hanging loop for the pendant is a broad band of needle bead weaving of larger iridescent beads, The pendant hangs from 6 strands of ribbon in various widths, some organdie and some satin, the ribbons are fastened with a heavy silver coloured T bar and loop.The pendant is finished with a felt back. The ribbons measure approximately 50cm and the pendant is 4.5 cm wide and 7cm long to the end of the strands of beads and including the hanging loop. Quite dramatic but in subtle colours.
