I am a freelance artist & illustrator, whose work is created using a mixture of chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil. I sell Giclee Art prints, drawings, greeting cards, wrapping paper, stickers, ceramic ornaments and coasters, tote bags and wall calendars - all featuring my illustrations!

I used coloured pencils, pencil and chalk pastel to create "Nanuq. The ever-wandering one". It appeals to both adults and children.

Inspiration:
I intended this to be a beautiful yet poignant and ethereal piece, as polar bears have taken on symbolic meaning in recent times, as well as playing an important part in traditional Inuit mythology. I've made the bear a canvas for the environment in which he resides as I believe that surreal elements can help to express a sense of a beings inner life and connectedness
