Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.

One dark winters night in the pouring rain in York, I cycled to a design shop which was having an end of year sale of designer fabrics. This Designers Guild fabric remnant was one of the beautiful pieces I found that night.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

This practical little handbag with its satisfying chunky zip, fits neatly under your arm, but is still roomy enough for all your essentials (and a little bit more!) This beautiful linen mix fabric with its abstract design, almost looks like a painting. Its rich sumptuous colours makes it a perfect handbag for special winter events; it would make a great bag to carry at a winter wedding. This shoulder bag would also make an unusual gift for an artist, or for anyone who loves abstract design.
The fabric is first stitched onto canvas to give it some body, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 30 cm along the top, and widens to 33 cm along the base.
The height is 24 cm and the ends are boxed to make it a little more roomy.
There is a grey chunky zip opening of 30 cm.
The two shoulder straps measure 72 cm each.
There is an internal pocket measuring 13 cm by 13 cm, so you need never rummage for your keys again.
The bag is lined with old school black and white ticking fabric, and it is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.
It will be posted out as signed for 2nd class Royal Mail, and will therefore require a signature on arrival.
