This was a lovely evening to walk along the sea wall by the deep water marina and along the footpath to the town.
The concrete barges, built during the Second World War to make temporary harbours, have been dumped to prop up shorelines, or just abandoned in most places they are found. In the River Severn they lie desolate in the mud.
However, in Burnham, we have a number that have been made into beautiful Mulberry houseboats. In fact, they have become quite a feature of the riverside town.
This is a DL card of an original watercolour painted by me. It is printed on Epson Heavyweight Matt using genuine Epson inks and is mounted on a blank card. It will be sealed in a cello bag and sent out using second class post and recycled or recyclable packaging.
This is my favourite view of Burnham and the light was just right
