Paisley plus roses equals classic 1980’s vintage Sanderson. Sometimes it’s nice to ditch the hessian tote for a pretty one for a change.

This practical tote, shopping bag or book bag is made in a classic vintage Sanderson design of roses mixed with paisley. Its dark print reminds me of victorian drawing room, sepia photographs and a hint of William Morris.This simple unlined design still packs a punch with its strong French seams, internal pocket and boxed base. It comes with its own little wallet so it can be folded up and stowed away. Perfect for carrying those unexpected buys! It would make a great present for a vintage fabric lover, for a bookworm, or as a present for Mum.
This unlined cotton bag is sewn with strong French seams to neaten all your edges.
It measures 32 cm across and measures 36 cm down.
There are two shoulder straps each 62 cm long.
There is an inside pocket 13x15 cm finished in green binding with my own embroidered label sewn on, and the base is boxed to give it more room.
The top is neatly finished off with a facing.
I like to reuse where possible. Your bag will be sent out wrapped in clean recycled packaging from my hoard, and posted out as royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting.
