Safe in a perfect, chalk white abode. Cool below a layer of damp sand, carefully and purposefully placed with love and hidden with hope. Slowly, an emergence in the moonlight erupts from the sandy nursery. The pitter-patter of flippers accompanies the rhythm of the tide. Predators prowl and littler already creates an obstacle course. The music of new life quietens as numbers reaching the foamy finish line dwindle. Against the odds a few make the cool welcoming fingers of the ocean, encapsulating each survivor and washing away their sandy coatings. And in a little while one returns, to entrust her own treasure to the unwelcoming beach. Placed with love and hidden with hope...

Full description
A lone sea turtle crawls towards the surf on this teardrop shaped pendant. Hand burned using pyrography or wood burning. Coloured with art pencils. Ideal for a sea life fan or a five year wood anniversary gift.
-The pendant is made from birch.
-The dimensions are approximately: 4cm x3cm
-It comes with a free 1mm waxed cotton cord with a silver tone lobster clasp fasten. This is approx 18" long. Other lengths are available or it can be sent without the clasp, just to tie.
-Comes in a box and bag, with care instructions.

All my creations are my own design and composition. Each piece is unique. Please note, wood is a natural material and each piece has it's own knots and imperfections that make it beautiful. I seal the wood with varnish to help protect it, but it will weather overtime.
To care for your piece; keep out of direct sunlight in a box or roll when not in use, keep it out of the shower, and avoid spraying with perfume.
Postage is FREE. I post once a week, using my local post office. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Postage within the UK only.
