My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

Full description
This mixed media artwork would add a pop of colour to your home or make an unusual gift for a friend or relation.
The artwork is housed in a small wooden box which has been painted with dark brown acrylic paint.
On display are a postage stamp with a portrait by Japanese artist Sharaku and a small section from a Hiroshige playing card. Other items include a metal head of Buddah, filigree hand of hamsa, jewelry findings, and beads (Mookaite, glass, carved bone in the shape of a fish and Aquamarine).
Each compartment has been sectioned with painted paper strips and layers of acrylic paint and woodblock prints have been added to create a vintage feel.
The box is free-standing and measures 225mm long x 80mm high x 30mm deep. Internal compartments measure approx. 7cm sq.
Artwork will be shipped via Evri.
