I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use track 24 or special delivery so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.

Full description
These elongated dangly earrings feature long drops of fordite bezel set in sterling silver and finished off with sterling silver safety hooks. The fordite has bands of colour running roughly horizontally across it in shades of orange, yellow, beige, white and blue fading from orange at the top to the blues at the bottom. The safety hooks (also known as kidney wires) have a little hook on the back thatthe main hook latches into this keeps the earring secure in your ears.
If you've not come across fordite before its the name given to a cured build up of over spray paint from spray booths at car factories. As each vehicle is painted a new layer is added being baked hard in the curing ovens each time, this build up can be cut and polished to show the many layers and colours within. This particular material I believe to have come from Ford's Dagenham plant in the 1970's, probably when they were making transit vans as I've been told the material contains BT yellow, TNT orange and British gas blue, you can see the rough (not included) in one of the photos so you can decide for yourself. As painting technology has improved less fordite is being formed and it is becoming increasingly difficult to source, especially vintage material like this.
Measure 51mm by 10mm including the hooks. Comes gift boxed.
