A great friend of mine gave me this set of sweet little napkins. They had seen better days, but with some laundry and TLC I was able to just about squeeze out this pretty set of tiny wild flower lavender bags.

Full description
Lovely lavender, used for centuries to scent clothes, aid healthy sleep and keep away pesky moths. This sweet trio of vintage embroideries are like little botanical illustrations from a wildflower book; the cowslip, pansy and thistle. I couldn’t bear to split them up, so I am keeping them together in a set of three. Nestling inside each one is a little muslin cushion filled with dried lavender from Terrington in North Yorkshire . The back is made from a tiny section from a vintage tray cloth, its pierced embroidery is perfect for allowing the scent to escape. These would make a lovely housewarming present, to store with a bridal gown, or for anyone needing a little special gift right now.
The lavenders measure approx 8 cm by 8 cm, with a hook for a clothes hanger, or to simply hang up to admire the embroidery.
The cowslip and pansy are decorated with a pair of vintage buttons, and they are all backed with a cotton tray cloth with cut back embroidery to let out the scent. They are finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse, if possible. Your bags will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my stash, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
