Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.
Thank you for visiting me at Folksy.
One of the best things about lovely old vintage sewing patterns is the period fashion illustrations on the envelope front. They are so nostalgic, and are a social history of what women wore when. They look great framed, and hung in groups on the wall too!

A lovely vintage sewing pattern for a duster coat or robe. Hard to belive that this was designed and printed in 1965.These practical garments were worn during the day to protect everyday clothes from the dust of housework. They were often homemade, and made up with bright and breezey fabrics to cheer up the daily cleaning routine. This pattern has been used, but all the pieces are intact and in good, tho second hand, condition. The envelope is turning a sepia colour! and is a little crumpled, but the great period fashion illustration still shines out. These vintage dress making envelopes can also look great framed in groups and up on the wall. This would make a great present for a vintage lover, a fashion historian, or a dressmaker.
The size is for Bust 34 - 36 inch Waist 26 - 28 inch Hips 36 - 38 inch so a reasonable size, as so many vintage patterns are very small.
The description calls it a robe or duster with front button closing, raglan sleeves with turned back cuffs and patch pockets.
I love to reuse, your pattern will be posted out using clean, recycled packaging from my stash, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
