I love this stitch. It lends itself to a perfect back drop for my knitted flowers.
I saw this colour and knew immediately it would knit up to a beautiful tea cosie.

A beautifully knitted pale yellow tea pot cosie with three knitted crocus flowers.The body of the cosie is knitted in a beautiful pale yellow coloured yarn, using my statement trellis stitch. Nestled on the top are three knitted crocus flowers in cream, duck egg blue and pale green. The cosie is tied together using a handmade cord in a matching pale yellow coloured yarn. The cosie will fit snuggly but with enough ease for a swift removal when a top up is required. The tea pot handle peeps through the side opening so it dosnt get too hot to handle. The tea cosie will fit a standard 4 - 6 cup tea pot.
Perfect house warming gift or wedding present.
