I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). Full description
This classic drop shaped pendant is given added interest thanks to the unusual material used in it - it features Cornish surfite bezel set in sterling silver. The surfite has diagonal stripes in pastel green, white, grey mid blue and teal with little dimples where the layers meet from air bubbles being trapped. The drop hangs from a textured sterling silver bail, it comes with a silver snake chain but the generous bail would take ribbon or cord if you wanted to swap it over. Measures 53mm by 23mm (inc bail) and comes gift boxed.
Surfite is cured epoxy resin waste that builds up during surfboard manufacture, during the glassing stage the excess resin is drained off the board and into a bucket. Once the bucket is full and fully cured the resultant block is normally thrown away but I managed to get Toy Factory Surfboards in Newquay to sell me one and took a saw to it! You can see the block and a work in progress shot in the photos, the rough isn't included but if you want something else making drop me a message. This pendant would make a great gift for a surfer or someone with ties to the Cornish coast.
