When I could not find a pretty and practical holder for my quilting clips I decided to make one. From my vast crafty stash I found felt from toy making, beads from my jewellery box, half a mini charm pack and a selection of old buttons which fitted the bill perfectly. I would not be without mine now.

Full description
This pretty and practical multi use cushion will keep all your quilt clips, pins and even a needle in one place and will save time hunting around a busy sewing table for items.
The grey wool felt cushion has a flower of 20 fabric petals in shades of turquoise, navy, white, pink and red with a self covered button middle. Each handmade petal will hold a quilting clip.
Three black, magnetic beads sewn in one corner will hold a needle and the rest of the cushion can be used for pins. If placed at an angle they will not pierce the bottom and mark your surface underneath.
The cushion is hand sewn with navy blue embroidery thread in a blanket stitch and the filling of polyester toy filling and some polypropylene beads gives it softness but some weight so it wont move around the table. Four buttons, 3 with a flower design in blue, red and yellow and a fourth in a pearl colour with a flower and line design complete the piece.
Perfect for a sewing gift for the person who has everything or just treat yourself. Each one of these cushions is hand sewn and individual.
