I often find these fragments of careworn linens on my fabric hunting. It's lovely to give them a new lease of life, and keep them valued a little longer. Their pierced cut back embroidery is perfect for letting the lavender scent escape.

Full description
This pretty lavender bag is made from the corner of a lovely old table napkin. Its little clump of daisies was the perfect size for a larger lavender bag. I have made the back from a softly washed vintage piece of cut back linen, and It is filled with dried lavender from Terrington in North Yorkshire. Since ancient times the lovely lavender has been used to help a good nights sleep, keep clothes smelling fresh, and annoy pesky moths. This pretty vintage embroidery features a daisy plant, and would be lovely to store in a drawer with a bridal gown, as a house warming gift, or as a Mother’s Day present.
The back is made from the corner of a white vintage tray cloth, its pierced design allowing the gentle lavender scent to waft out.
This little bag measures 11 cm by 11 cm, and nestling inside is a tiny muslin pillow filled with English lavender from North Yorkshire.
There is a practical hook for popping onto a clothes hanger or hanging up in a bedroom, to keep the air sweet.
The front and back are made from different sections of vintage embroidery, and create a different design front and back, and the bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Just squeeze gently from time to time to refresh your lavender scent.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your little bag will be posted out to you wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be sent out to you by Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting.
