A rustic autumn themed tea cosy with hand knitted acorn and oak leaf.
I have hand knitted this teapot cosy using a lovely wool mix yarn and attached a knitted oak leaf and acorn to the top. This soft chunky yarn has marbled shades of olive, pink, mauve and green. The oak leaf is knitted with a lovely olive green wool and the acorn is in complementary shades of pale green and mauve. I find that the tea cosy is thick enough to keep my teapot lovely and hot. It will fit a standard 4-6 cup teapot and is fairly stretchy, so will fit many different designs of teapot.
I would recommend hand washing this item. Do not tumble dry.
