This Chicago skyscraper photograph is of the unusual Lake Point Tower. It's the only downtown Chicago skyscraper to be located east of Lake Shore Drive and, true to Chicago, has many legendary reasons for it! It was designed by John Heinrich and George Schipporeit, both of whom were students of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. At its completion in 1968 it was the highest apartment building in the world at 645 feet. More recently Chicago based architect Adrian Smith declared Lake Point Tower as the inspiration for the design of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Lake Point Tower's famous residents have included Alice Cooper, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

All Chicago skyscraper photographs are:-

- printed on A4 (21x30cm) professional semi-gloss photographic paper;
- individually signed and fully mounted (including back board) on 28x35cm black or cream card; and
- shipped in board-backed packaging in a sealed cellophane protective sleeve.
