Full description
I have made this lavender bag from a sweet piece of vintage embroidery, dense with cross stitch. It almost looks like a little piece of Folk Art tapestry with its geometric patterns. Inside is a little muslin pillow filled with dried Yorkshire lavender from Terrington, and on the top is a hook to hang it up and admire this tiny piece of craftwork.
It would make a sweet present for a lover of vintage textiles or Folk art, and is perfect for nestling in a drawer and keeping special outfits fresh.
The bag measures 8 cm by 8 cm
The front is cotton, embroidered with tiny cross stitches into a geometric floral pattern.
The back is made from a different fabric, with mauve flowers and a cut back section to allow the scent to escape.
There is a practical hook for hanging over a clothes hanger to keep those pesky moths at bay!
I like to recycle. Your bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be sent out as Royal Mail 2nd class post which takes up to 3 days.
