This very simple patchwork quilt is bright and full of little puffins.

It measures 55 cm by 70 cm and is a perfect size for a cuddle blanket or for the pushchair. The top panel is made from 100% cotton and the wadding is made from recycled plastic bottles. Sewn with a tag at the back for hanging up.

This blanket can be washed in the washing machine on a wool cycle and dried flat.

What do you make with a puffin design cotton fabric? A Puffling quilt of course! I wanted to make a small quilt using a bold, simple design. One that can be used on a daily basis, in the pushchair, snuggling on the sofa with Mum. A size suitable for little Pufflings.

I chose orange, red and black to reflect the colours of a Puffin and I always use a fleece backing for children, as it's so cosy.

A perfect wee quilt to give as a present.
