I love the Sun and Moon combination and I have used it in my work throughout my life. I cannot explain why I am drawn so much to them as symbols but it has always been so. I felt in this piece the Moon at night and Sun with a cloud in the day was an intuitive idea that balances within the moon shape.

Full description
Handmade ceramic moon, hand-drawn original design by myself, along with some stars stamped into the clay. Fired and glazed in my studio at home. A one-off piece with a hook attached to the back for hanging. Not for outside use, only hang inside as earthenware clay and is not frostproof. Approx 8" long by 3" width.
