Wow, what a gorgeous Springtime vintage fabric. Old Liberty textiles have the most fabulous designs, and this Collier/Campbell one is no exception. I couldn’t believe it when I found this fabric hiding at the bottom of a shelf in a Charity shop. It scrubbed up nicely.There are some matching zip up make up bags in this fabric also in my shop right now.

Full description
This Springtime vintage Liberty fabric is covered with gorgeous flowers in pretty pastel shades. Its hard to believe that this Collier/Campbell design was actually printed in the 1970’s, it still looks so cool today. Made from cotton furnishing fabric, this simple unlined bag still packs a punch. It is made with strong French seams, and has a small internal pocket, so you will always know where your keys are. It comes with a matching wallet so you can roll it up and keep it handy for emergency shopping buys, and reduce using plastic bags. It would make a great present for a fabric designer, for a vintage fan or as a gift for Mum.
Please note the pattern placement will vary from bag to bag, but it is still the same wonderful fabric.
It measures 32cm wide and 36 cm long.
The inside pocket is 13cm by 13cm. It is edged with blue bias binding, and has my own embroidered name tag stitched on the front.
There is a facing around the top edge to give it a neat finish.
There are two shoulder straps each measuring 65cm long to fit over your shoulder, but also short enough to use as a handheld bag.
The bag will roll up to fit into its own wallet measuring 14 cm by 18cm, and will nestle inside your handbag. Happy to be washed on a cool setting, and pegged out on the line.
I like to reuse where possible. Your tote bag will be sent out to you wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my stash, and will be posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of sending.
