Full description
A thatched cottage cushion, rectangular in shape. The cushion is made from a lovely rustic woven cream fabric with a herringbone pattern in the weave and has an appliqué design depicting a thatched cotttage and two trees. The cottage is made from checked tweed, tartan fabric in shades of beige, grey and cream. For the thatched roof I've used jute hessian with a fringed edge at the eaves. The arched door is made from pink tweed and the door knob is a lovely little white button with tiny black polka dots. The windows are a pretty floral print fabric in shades of pink and green on a cream background. The trees have print patterns in green, brown, white, beige and purple. The trunks are made from a lovely rich brown velvet-finish fabric.
The cushion measures approx. 20" (51cm) x 14" (35cm) and has a concealed zip along the bottom of the cover for easy removal. A polyester cushion pad is included which conforms to all safety requirements.
This cushion, with its mixture of print and textured fabrics, is wonderfully tactile and would make a lovely addition to any room. With its country cottage theme it would make a lovely gift.
