Textiles made from wire, chainmaille is a beautiful thing, it is tactile and feels lovely to wear.
Chainmaille is a time consuming process, every weave is handmade with passion.
I am fascinated by the vast number of chainmaille weaves available. I love the chainmaille costumes seen in re-enactment battles and how chainmaille has been used in fashion. I am always learning new chainmaille weaves.
I coil the wire into rings and saw cut the rings by hand. I then hand weave the rings in various weaves and hand paint by anodising the rings to create a beautiful piece of jewellery.
I work with natural materials so some variation in colour, inclusions, shape and size may occur. Variation is part of the charm of handmade and natural materials.

High quality, beautiful and exquisite in its design this hand painted anodised niobium and sterling silver chainmaille bracelet is hand woven in a beautiful mobius flower weave.
I coil the wire into rings and saw cut the rings by hand. I then hand weave the rings in a mobius flower weave and hand paint by anodising the niobium rings to create a beautiful piece of jewellery that is elegant and the perfect go-to for any occasion be it casual or special.

Fully hallmarked.
As this niobium and sterling silver bracelet is over the legal weight it is fully hallmarked on the rear of my Crystal Clarke logo tag with my personal makers mark (CC), this simply stands for Crystal Clarke. As well as my makers mark there is the date letter, metal purity, sterling silver mark plus the anchor denoting where the hallmarking took place which is the Birmingham Assay Office.
