Full description
This is a unique original drawing of an African elephant. Walking towards us along a rough path, her front foot is lifted as she takes a step. Her great ears are flapping and the strong sunlight from almost directly above creates strong dark shadows. A small pair of tusks show beside her long sensitive wrinkled trunk. Graphite pencil is the perfect medium to draw the textures of her deeply folded skin and the little crinkled edges to her ears.
Drawn on high quality cartridge paper, the picture is presented in an off-white / pale cream colour mount, with backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 8” wide by 10” tall (image size 5” by 7”) - that’s approximately 20 by 25 (12 by 18) in cm - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame. If you don't have space to display a large work of art, you can still own an original artwork with this small drawing.
