To make this Christmas special, why not create and print your own beautiful Christmas cards?
Join me for this fun Christmas workshop on Saturday 24th November 2018 from 2-5pm at Stoneleigh Library, 1 The Broadway, Stoneleigh, Epsom, KT17 2JA.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. You will learn how to carve into lino then use hand printing methods to print your own design. You can experiment by adding coloured paper and printing onto book pages and maps to create unique prints. These can be mounted onto card blanks to create beautiful handmade Christmas cards.
All you need to bring along is an apron (we will be using water based inks) and some ideas (but I will provide lots of these too). There is an opportunity to buy the tools and extra lino at the end of the session so you can continue to create more designs at home.
The workshop is completely hands-on with tuition and help throughout. And to make your afternoon perfect there will be handmade cupcakes and a lovely cuppa.
The printing workshop is situated in Stoneleigh Library and there is parking available in the car park opposite. The library is situated next to Stoneleigh station so is ideal if travelling by train. When booking, let me know if you have any special dietary requirements.
