Looking for a quirky gift for your home, with a touch of typical British humour? This bespoke wooden sign will be a great finishing touch in your stately home or baronial castle (or humble house, of course – we can’t all live in Downton Abbey after all). With a slightly cranky message and a hint of not suffering fools gladly – a sign that will make you smile, despite the grouchy message!
This wooden block is created just for you which means that you can request the text to be in any one of 8 lovely colours. The sign measures approximately 32x10cm & 2cm thick.
Chunky enough to be a freestanding shelf block, the plaque has pre-drilled holes on the reverse if you wish to hang it on the wall. The blocks are hand painted in off-white/ivory with an attractive rustic ‘shabby’ finish, and there are variations between each one. After adding your text the entire block is given 2 coats of matte varnish to protect it from dust & dirt. (NB: sign suitable for inside use only.)
