Hello - I'm Sarah, and I'm the designer and maker behind PhotoFairytales. My shop is full of personalised prints and wall art, customised handmade gifts and personalised keepsakes aimed at all ages and occasions.

I run my personalised gift business from a studio at the top of our home in a small market town near Norwich in Norfolk. PhotoFairytales was born in 2009 out of my love for creating - since childhood I've loved crafting and making, designing and sketching.

Let’s face it: unique, individual people need unique, individual gifts - and I know *EXACTLY* how important (and difficult!) it can be to find the right gift for the right occasion. My range of gifts, homeware and keepsakes are inspired by my love of design and illustration, and my aim is to produce gifts that you’ll love giving - gifts with added thoughtfulness that are original, personal and made just for you.

Simply put, I don’t want you to have to resort to buying cold, mass produced gifts for your loved ones - I want you instead to experience the sense of warmth you get when you purchase something handmade, unique and made just for you.

Originally born in Surrey, I studied art & design before moving to Bath and working in theatre marketing. A couple of career shifts have seen me working as a graphic designer, copywriter, and in publishing - but I'm now happily rooted running my own business and loving it. I gather inspiration from everywhere: the open Norfolk countryside and coast has certainly influenced me, and I love going on walks and bike rides through the landscape with my family and our dog, Freddy (but only on decent weather days, I'm not that committed!).

Most of all though, I adore sitting here in my slopey-ceilinged studio designing and creating prints and gifts for my customers...
