This little Dutch town house brooch was inspired my visits to Amsterdam. Last time I went it was winter and there was thick snow, the city looked so romantic in the evening as we wandered around the iced over canals looking at the warm glow coming from the houses. This memory comes back when I'm making these.

Size 6cm x 2.5cm
Beautiful handmade ceramic brooch in the shape of a Dutch style town house based on the type you see in Amsterdam.
Made from a Etruscan red clay with blue, white and green inlaid colours to pick out the details. The door and windows are highlighted with a clear glaze which contrasts against the matt blue.
A great piece to wear on autumn/winter coat or as a scarf pin.
Presented on a display card.
All my pieces are designed and handmade by myself.
