Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again.
I will be re-stocking slowly but surely after Christmas, so do keep coming back for a browse.

I am beginning to love these old Indian hand printed textiles all over again. A build up layers and colours give a beautiful surface texture.

Full description
There is the smell of Joss sticks in the air. This lovely hand printed fabric is so reminiscent of the 1970s and probably dyed and printed in India. Years on, I am appreciating these hand blocked fabrics once again.
It makes into a great practical little zip up bag, just right for toiletries, cosmetics or a pencil case. Would also make a neat little man bag! Then again, it could be filled with keepsakes and hung up somewhere special as a little piece of craft work in its own right.
The fabric is stitched onto canvas to give it some body.
It measures 22cm across, widening slightly towards the bottom.
It measures 16cm long.
There is a gold coloured zip opening of 22cm.
The lining is made from a different part of the same fabric.
There is a hook to the RHS for twirling around your finger, or for hanging up as a piece of craft work in its own right.
It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
The nature of these fabrics means that they hold a lot of dye. Please wash gently with other dark colours in cool water, and leave to dry naturally.
I like to reuse where possible. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class with certificate of posting. This takes up to 3 working days.
