Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

What a fab old tablecloth with its mix of lattice work and floral. I was able to find some good quality fragments to use within its well-worn history. Now it lives on a little bit longer.

Make up bag, coin purse or zip up purse, made from vintage embroidery.
I love the crisscross design mixed with flowers along the edge of this old and tarnished tablecloth.
With some laundry and love, it’s scrubbed up nicely to make this very pretty, yet practical, little zipped bag. A great gift for a textile lover, your best friend, or a thank you for a bridesmaid.
The embroidery has been stitched onto canvas to give it some body.
It measures 16 cm across, by 12 cm down.
There is a purple zip opening of 16 cm.
It is backed with recycled blue denim, to give it a bit of “edge”.
There is a finger hook so you can hang it up somewhere nice to admire the hand sewn stitches.
The lining is a vintage floral cotton.
It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
There are a cluster of different buttons on the front. Two are metal covered buttons.
As the fabric is hand sewn and vintage, the pattern placement will vary from bag to bag a little bit. I will do my utmost to keep this to a minimum!
I like to reuse if I can. Your purse will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging. It will be posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting, which takes up to 3 working days to arrive.
