I collect vintage hand embroideries, but often they are in a tea stained and sorry state. Even so, I can’t bear to throw them away. Covering buttons is my way of using the tiny perfect leftover pieces from those threadbare linens.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

A pair of jumbo extra-large buttons, covered with vintage hand sewn embroidery.
Bring summer into your life with these extra- large metal buttons, covered in hand sewn vintage embroidery. Tiny fragments of homemade table linen, which have been rescued, and made into something pretty and practical once again.
Excellent for sewing onto bags or hats as a statement decorative feature, or simply using as buttons, (if you can sew a big enough buttonhole!) They would make a great gift for a textile lover, embroiderer or thank you for teacher.
There are two metal covered buttons made from metal in this pack.
Each is covered with a bright blue flower, green leaves and stem made from different sections of an old hand embroidered tray cloth.
Each button measures 4cm in diameter.
I like to recycle when I can. Your buttons will be posted out using clean, reused packaging.
They will be sent as 2nd class Royal Mail with proof of sending, which takes about 3 working days.
