This striking pendant features a long drop of deep purple bowlerite which hangs beneath a lilac amethyst cabochon, both pieces have been bezel set in sterling silver with a point of articulation between them. The generous bail is hidden behind the amethyst and would easily fit a ribbon, leather thong or (probably) a torque if you prefer one of those to the chain that it is supplied with (those alternatives aren't included but if you would like me to source one of these for you then drop me a message). Bowlerite is the name give to the hard plastic recovered from the outside of vintage bowling balls when they are too beat up to roll down the lanes any more, this ball was probably from the 60's or 70's and is a windsor purple with a silvery sheen swirling through it, the articulation in the piece allows it to move and the light to catch the sparkles.
Measures approx 60mm (2 1/4 inches) drop by 10mm wide, comes complete with an 18 inch sterling silver chain in a sleek box.
