Full description
This little scene features a traditional Scottish crofter's cottage with a slate grey roof and embroidered tree, set against a silver grey winter sky.
All elements of the embroidery have been hand-cut and hand-stitched by me to my own design. I also painted the 3" wooden embroidery hoop used to frame the work.
The back of the hoop is neatly finished with a circle of white felt, signed by me. A hanging loop of white waxed cotton is attached to the top screw mechanism.
Please note that the ivy leaves in the main photo are NOT part of the piece.
The embroidery will be sent to you in a premium white presentation box (approx dimensions 10.5 x 10.5 x 2.0cm) lined with silver grey felt to match the background of the piece.
I often re-make designs, but tiny variations in the stitches occur each time ensuring that each item is unique. Therefore, the embroidery you receive may vary slightly from the item shown in photos 1 - 3.
Postage is free to all UK addresses and orders will be sent via Royal Mail First Class Large Letter Service.
