Designed and embroidered by hand in Scotland.

Hello, I'm Nicola.

I love art, architecture, hand-embroidery, coffee and politeness. I also like tea, but nine times out of ten I'll choose coffee.

I originally trained to be an architect and worked in that field for over a decade. I have always loved hand-embroidery and it has been my favourite pastime since my primary two teacher taught me to stitch a binca bookmark. I studied creative embroidery as the classwork element of my Higher Grade Art course at secondary school and attended evening classes in embroidery at Glasgow School of Art as part of their Continuing Education programme.

I have been lucky enough to have had pieces in exhibitions at The Lloyd Jerome Gallery in Glasgow, Bonhams in Edinburgh and in the Gallery Shop at The Barony Centre in West Kilbride (Craft Town Scotland). Also, one of my winter cottage embroideries was featured in the Nov/Dec 2016 issue of LandScape magazine.

Thanks for looking at my shop. If you are on Instagram or Twitter, feel free to pop over and say hello, or follow me for shop updates.
