Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again.
I will be re-stocking slowly but surely after Christmas, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

I have a large collection of vintage hand embroideries, and so often they are damaged, tea stained and threadbare. Even so, I can’t bear to throw them away. Covering buttons is my way of extending the life of these little treasures.
These florals have a lovely Spring time freshness, and I love the way they represent an old fashioned cottage garden border.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
These extra large metal buttons are covered in hand sewn vintage embroidery. Tiny fragments of homemade table linen, which have been rescued, and given a new life and purpose.
Excellent for sewing onto bags or accessories as a statement decorative feature, or simply using as buttons, (if you can sew a big enough button hole!) They would make a great gift for an embroiderer, or textile lover.
There are three covered buttons made from metal in this pack. Each is covered with a different section from an old hand embroidered tray cloth, featuring clusters of flowers from a cottage garden border.
Each button measures 4cm in diameter
I am a recycling nut, and love to reuse packaging.Your buttons will arrive creatively wrapped in clean, recycled papers from my hoard of lovely old books and papers.
They will be sent out as Royal Mail 2nd class, with certificate of posting, which takes up to three working days to arrive.
