Inspired by the quiet beauty and wonder of nature at this magic time of year as the nights draw in and we look to the stars and twinkling lights that adorn our trees, towns and homes for light. My designs also aim to capture the incredible blue over the mountains here in North Wales in the magical gloaming hour just after sunset on a clear crisp day.

A little bird perched in bare tree branches with strings of twinkling lights draped in - a magical sight on a winter's eve.
Printed card design from original cyanotype. To create the original I used the old photographic process of cyanotype - a light sensitive solution is applied to watercolour paper, a large format negative placed on then exposed to sunlight, the solution is then rinsed off and the paper dried, fixing the image.
Nature is at the heart of my work. The premium 300gsm card stock is FSC accredited, supplied with a ribbed brown 100% recycled envelope in an eco-friendly clear wrap (made from corn starch these are fully biodegradable and compostable). Card measures 10.5 x 15cm.
