I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use track 24 or special delivery so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.

Full description
This eyecatching pendant features a freeform cabochon of fordite bezel set in sterling silver, the setting is open backed so the pendant can be worn either way round showcasing the different patterns on the 2 sides. The 'front' has a bold swirly pattern in black, white, sparkly silver, red and dark grey, the 'back' is more muted with thinner bands of grey, white, red, black and pale gold. Not heard of fordite before? Its an accidentally man made material - layer upon layer of paint that built up in the old spray booths in car factories which after being baked hard in the ovens was removed and fell into the hands of lapidarists who realised it could be cut and polished to show off the layers (I cut and polished this particular piece myself). Its becoming harder to find since they changed the way cars are sprayed and the raw material is no longer made, this piece came from one of the Detroit factories in the early 2000's making it some of the last produced.
The pendant measures approx 45mm by 22mm (excluding the top ring), it comes complete with a 16 inch chain but if you would prefer a different length or leather cord then drop me a message and I should be able to sort this out for you. Comes gift boxed.
