Is there a special message you want to send someone in a greetings card, but just can't seem to find the right card for it?
I'd be thrilled to work with you to make it a reality whether you have a solid idea of your desired design or not!
Please have a look around at the various card designs available to see what is possible and then get in touch to discuss your special eco-friendly, handspun newspaper yarn card.....I am more than happy to provide ideas and inspiration based on what you tell me about the person and the occasion or message.
"Goodnewsfrombad" is all about recovery, hope and transforming old stories (particularly difficult bad news stories) into new ones.
The newspaper yarn I make is carefully handspun from hand cut, thin strips of newspaper. I have tried spindles/shredders, but I find that using my fingers helps keep the yarn fine as possible as well as allowing me more control over the colours and textures produced.
I also think there is something important about knowing the newspaper has physically passed through the hands of the maker, which transforms the bad news stories and makes them a part of your stories as you send them to your friends and family.
