Full description
This little hoop features a traditional Scottish crofter's cottage and embroidered tree encrusted with french knots in shades of russet, set against a stormy autumnal sky.
All elements of the embroidery have been hand-cut and hand-stitched by me to my own design. I also hand-painted the 3" wooden embroidery hoop used to frame the work.
The back of the hoop is neatly finished with a circle of white felt. A hanging loop of white waxed cotton is attached to the hoop tightening mechanism.
The embroidery will be sent to you in a premium white presentation box (dimensions 10.8 x 10.8 x 2.0cm) lined with storm blue felt to match the background of the piece.
Postage to UK addresses is via Royal Mail 1st Class Large Letter Service.
I often re-make designs, but tiny variations in the stitches occur each time ensuring that each item is unique. Therefore, the embroidery you receive may vary slightly from the item shown in photos 1 - 3.
