A unique bespoke piece of custom sculptural newspaper yarn art made for your paper wedding anniversary, or other special occasion. I will work closely with you to come up with the perfect design for you. The newspaper yarn is carefully handspun from hand cut, thin strips of newspaper. I have tried spindles/shredders, but I find that using my fingers helps keep the yarn fine as possible as well as allowing me more control over the colours and textures produced.

I also think there is something important about knowing the newspaper has physically passed through the hands of the maker, which transforms the bad news stories and makes them a part of your stories as you send them to your loved one.

I can supply a 20cm square box frame with 2cm depth for £5 or obtain custom framing, charged at cost price from a local framers, if you would like the piece framed before shipping.

Sourcing back-dated newspapers may possibly incur an extra charge.

I can also use tissue paper from wedding invites if you prefer.
