Full description
Sweet doll made from coffee dyed cotton and then gently sanded for a worn, vintage appearance. Her face is made from homemade paper clay (which is tougher than the standard stuff ) which has been painted with a distressed finish, using acrylics and has then been varnished. Her hair is Wensleydale washed fleece which has been stitched to her head and then partly glued at the front , then i have stitched more fleece onto the glued area ( hope you follow that )!
Her skirt is a double layer of silk chiffon and her jumper is boiled wool edged with silk.
Her boots are hand stitched felt - i love making little boots and shoes - and for reasons of modesty she wears a pair of long drawers.
She has been made as a collectable and is not suitable for children.
