Every Christmas I like to design a new piece, this year I wanted to create something festive but also something that would be treasured and worn all year round.
I love the weight and character of cast pieces, there's something extra special about a piece that is solid silver.
I chose mistletoe as my inspiration as for me the image immediately conjures up decorated trees, twinkly lights, roaring fires and all things Christmassy but also romance with a touch of glamour.
This piece is a larger version of my mistletoe pendant, and a more realistic interpretation of a mistletoe plant. I feel it makes a really interesting statement necklace.
