Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. Gertie is a cheerful tubby lady who would make a lovely companion. Her bright blond hair sits well with the pretty turquoise blue and mustard fabric. With accents of pink and stripy blue legs the whole combination makes for a happy doll.

Full description
Gertie is an original handmade cloth doll, she has a hand dyed calico body and has a hand painted, hand embroidered face. She carries a little sampler style lavender sachet and has tiny leather shoes, her hair is hand stitched and styled blond wool tops.
She stands 14 inches tall and is dressed in blues, mustard and pinks with coordinating fabrics for her knickers and underskirts. Her dress is finished with organza ribbon and tiny buttons. She sits nice and quiet or with a ring on her back she can hang on the wall. I think she has a cheerful face.
She is not a toy and is not suitable for children
