My mum bought me, my first braided rug when I was 16 years old on a trip to America.
It is still going strong, after all these years!
The problem was, where to put it;
It looked brilliant in the bathroom as a shower mat.
It looked stunning in front of the Aga.
And equally stylish as a back door mat.
Problem solved; start making more.....and so the story starts, and I have been braiding ever since.

Full description
A hand braided oval rug using 100% cotton fabrics.
I have braided together three different fabrics which include:
Navy and ecru striped ticking;
Royal blue and white cotton check;
Navy blue and pale blue check.
It has been machine sewn together for extra strength using a blue thread.
I have washed my own braided rugs on a gentle 30' wash and line dried them.
Please note the braids throw up darker flecks in the middle of the rug.
Perfect in front of the Aga, bathroom or back door.
Measurements: 81cm X 67cm approx
