Full description
A very striking nuno felted scarf. This scarf has had very fine layers of natural white merino wool fibres nuno felted to both sides of an off white silk chiffon scarf. On one side large flowers formed using a rainbow blend of merino wool have been added prior to felting. The reverse side has been left plain.
Nuno felting is a process whereby woollen fibres are made to migrate through the underlying silk fabric and bind with it to produce a new material. The resulting scarf is super soft, lightweight and drapes beautifully.
This scarf measures approximately 120cm x 36cm (47" x 14") and would make a stunning addition to any outfit. The use of natural fibres makes this scarf warm in winter yet cool in summer.
A lovely gift for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring. roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
