Full description
A gorgeous picture depicting the beach below a headland. This picture has been made using silk fabric and wool fibres to create the sky, sea and sand. The headland is made from a piece of hand made felt. All the components have been needle felted using barbed felting needles that bind the fabric and fibres together without the need for stitching. The process also adds texture to the picture. The birds have been added using black thread.
The picture size is approximately 4.5" x 2.5" and it has been mounted using an off white card mount and framed in a simple 6"x4" black frame. The frame has both a hanging hook and a prop stand on the reverse allowing it to be displayed either on the wall or a shelf.
Note: the frame is supplied glazed but the glass has been removed for photographs to avoid unwanted reflections.
