Full description
A sweet textile art picture of a river flowing through a field with bulrushes and flowers growing on the foreshore. This picture has been needle felted using strips of silk fabric with woollen fibres used to blend the colours and to add detail. No stitching has been used in the creation of this picture as the barbed felting needles bind the fabric and fibres together holding them in place.
The picture size is approximately 4.5" x 2.5" and it has been mounted using an off white card mount and framed in a simple 6"x4" black frame. The frame has both a hanging hook and a prop stand on the reverse allowing it to be displayed either on the wall or a shelf.
Note: the frame is supplied glazed but the glass has been removed for photographs to avoid unwanted reflections.
